KAMAN Innovation Award

The Kaman Award for Innovation (KAI) recognizes employees who face practical challenges and integrate new ideas into their daily work in a creative way.

With ingenuity and technical understanding, the award winners took on a practical challenge and found an innovative solution - the development of a new process to optimize a known device. In future, expensive metal fixtures can be replaced more flexibly by single-stroke fixtures manufactured internally with the help of the 3D printer (shimmering blue in the background in the center of the picture). This optimization not only significantly reduces costs with immediate effect, but also considerably shortens procurement and set-up times. This sets a new standard in terms of efficiency and resource utilization.
